Board of Education Meeting September 21, 2015

Tammy Marsh – Executive Secretary, PHHS

from Paul Flynn, Principal of Yale High School: “I wanted to pass on an account of a phone call I made to PH last week. I was checking on the status of a graduate for our Homecoming Dance, and I was connected to a Mrs. Marsh in the office. She was OUTSTANDING!!! She has the most pleasant and welcoming personality.

Tammy Marsh – Executive Secretary, PHHS Continued, from Paul Flynn,... She answered all of my questions professionally and transferred me to the appropriate person to answer my questions…… Rarely do I make a call to another district where I feel so welcomed by the voice on the phone. Port Huron schools has a gem. It isn't often I get to pass along accolades. I really wanted to share this one with you!”

Tammy Marsh – Executive Secretary, PHHS Mike Palmer, PHHS principal, shared the following: “Some of us call Tammy Marsh ‘mom.’ She might be tiny but her heart overshadows her size, tenfold. For all that she gives, she does so freely and truly without looking for anything in return ever.

Tammy Marsh – Executive Secretary, PHHS Continued from Mike Palmer, PHHS principal: Tammy is always kind, easy to approach (even when she is crazy busy), humble, willing to go above and beyond to help with any situation and is EXTREMELY knowledgeable. If she doesn't know an answer to a question, she offers to check and get back with you on it.

Tammy Marsh – Executive Secretary, PHHS Mike Palmer, PHHS principal, shared the following: She truly is an exemplary professional deserving to be honored for this award. She is remarkable and one of a kind! I am so thankful that she chose to come to Big Red Country!”

Tammy Marsh – Executive Secretary, PHHS From teacher Angie Kopydlowski: Tammy Marsh is an amazing woman. She has mastered the art of maintaining order in a sometimes chaotically busy atmosphere. She is highly organized, very professional, and extremely efficient. Recently, both of my parents were in the hospital. She not only checked in with my husband to see how they were doing and what I might need while I was absent, but she also sent quick s to check in with ME. Tammy wholeheartedly cares about her co-workers (and many others) and takes the time to make sure they know that... even while quietly managing some pretty big challenges in her own life. Tammy Marsh is an absolute asset to Port Huron High School and is VERY appreciated and loved!!!

Tammy Marsh – Executive Secretary, PHHS Thank you, Tammy Marsh, for your professionalism, positivity, and wonderful impact you have had on our students, staff, and families every day!
