Where is the taiga found? Did you know that the taiga is the largest biome? The taiga stretches across a large portion of Canada, Europe, and Asia.

Climate In the taiga there are 6 months of cold and snow. In the winter the climate is about -54 to -1°C (-65 to 30°F). In the summer the climate can get as low as -7°(-20°F). In the summer it can get as hot as 21°C (70°F).

Fauna There is a lot of different fauna in the taiga. Here are some examples: the American Black Bear, the American Bald Eagle, the Bobcat, the Canadian Lynx, the Gray Wolf, the Grizzly Bear, the Long - Eared Owl, the Red Fox, the River Otter, the Snowshoe Rabbit, Caribou and other deer like species, and the Wolverine.

The Gray Wolf Gray wolves are part of the dog family. This family includes foxes, jackals, and coyotes. They weigh about 27 to 60 kilograms. They feed on moose, deer, caribou, and hares.

Flora In the taiga, acres and acres of the same species of trees. Many of these trees are trees called conifers.

How does our world affect the taiga? 1. Global Warming, Cause: Humans 2. Cutting trees, Cause: Humans As you see, both of of these problems are caused by man. Man is a main problem and a main enemy to the taiga, and many of the other ecosystems.
