CERTIFICATION A PERSON HAS FULFILLED REQUIREMENTS OF EDUCATION AND PEFORMANCE AND MEETS THE STANDARDS AND QUALIFICAITON ESTABLISHED BY THE PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION THAT REGULATES A PARTICULAR CAREER EXAMPLES: CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTNAT CERTIFIED LABORATORY TECHNICIAN CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

REGISTRATION GRANTED BY A REGULATORY BODY THEY ADMINISTER EXAMINATIONS AND MAINTAIN A CURRENT LIST OF QUALIFIED PERSONNEL IN A GIVEN HEALTH CARE AREA EXAMPLES REGISTERED DIETITIAN REGISTERED RESPORATORY THERAPIST REGISTERED RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST

LICENSURE GOVERNMENT AGENCY AUTRHORIZES INDIVIDUALS TO WORK IN A GIVEN OCCUPATION HEALTH OCCUPATIONS REQUIRE LICENSES AND CAN VARY FROM STATE TO STATE OBTAINING A LICENSE USUALLY REQUIRES THAT A PERSON COMPLETE AN APPROVED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM, PASS A STATE BOARD TEST AND MAINTAIN CERTAIN STANDARDS EXAMPLES: PHYSICIAN DENTIST PHYSICAL THERAPIST REGISTERED NURSE
