Geography The total area of Haiti is 27,750 Square Kilometers The capitol city is Port-au-Prince French and Haitian Creole are the official Languages, but some English is spoken

Things to do . . . Haiti is home to many beaches and other natural wonders Snorkeling, Scuba Diving, and Swimming Many parks devoted to nature Zip lining, water sports and base jumping

Weather Haiti has very tropical weather and is warm year-round The average temperature in the capitol is 83 degrees Ferinheight

Religion The national religions are catholic and Haitian voodoo There are many misconceptions about voodoo religion The devil and zombies are rarely or never incorporated in voodoo religion

Culture The people of Haiti are often below poverty Many people sell goods to people such as tourists Many people grow food for them self and sell them to others

Other Important Information The country was recently devastated by an earthquake that killed 300,000 people and left 1 million homeless The country is home to many diseases such as cholera that has killed over 2,000 people just this month There are many political clashes such as several people recently shot after voting and several people being killed at a protest There is a very high rate of violent crimes so EXTREME caution is advised to you !!!!!!
