What does it mean to persuade?  To convince someone to believe something using an argument or reasoning For your SOL persuasive essay, you will choose a side to argue and support based on the prompt provided. How to Brainstorm: The Persuasive Essay

What is it?  A gathering of ideas from your brain onto paper Why do we need it?  It is a great way to collect your thoughts.  It is very helpful for organization.  It ensures that only quality ideas are used in your writing. Brainstorming
