Momo Dal bhat Chatamari Momo its history unknown but it is the most popular food in Nepal. Dal-bhat it can be said as the National food of Nepal. Chatamari the most rejoiced food in Nepal.

Traditional Dress of Nepal is never complete without mentioning the Newar clothing which is worn by the indigenous people of Kathmandu Valley and surrounding regions. Tamang women love to wear tamang lungi, tamang jewellery. Men’s common costume consists of a long shirt called tapālan and tightfitting trousers known as suruwā.

New Year: It is known as “Navavarsha” in Nepal. Nepal has its official calendar that begins from the first day of the first month Baisakh. Teej: This is a Hindu married woman’s day for her man. This festival is celebrated in August/September.
