Why are the properties of mixtures and fluids and their uses important to us?

 Solids  Particles are tightly packed and moving with mainly a vibrational motion.  Very low energy. Applying the Particle Model to Phases of Matter

 Liquids  Particles are vibrating and rotating and so there are bigger spaces between them.  The particles don’t form rigid clumps which is why they take the shape of the container they are in. Applying the Particle Model to Phases of Matter
