Presentation transcript:

© Priya Rajendran You had a wonderful summer. It was long and full of growth. Then you entered into fall. Oh, how beautiful the leaves were when they changed color. But, then something happened quite unexpectedly; you woke up one morning and there was frost on your windows. Your vision became obscured. What you could see turned brown – the growth which once filled your baskets overflowing was now weathered and dead. (contd….) Let It Rain

© Priya Rajendran Again came another frost and yet again and again until one morning you woke up to a deep blanket of snow. There was a curios beauty to it. Occasionally it was even warm enough to play outside in it, but for the most part you stayed inside, where the many days were very short and you bundled yourself next to a small fire. One night you vehemently said to yourself, “ I can take this no more !”. The next morning you woke up to a drizzling rain. The rain went on for days. You would look out your window to see everything brown and wet. The rain surfaced many tings which were once covered with snow. One day you would be cursing the leaks you found in your home and the next you thank that you no longer needed to melt snow for your bath. Tears flooded your face. (contd…)

© Priya Rajendran Then one morning you woke up very early because the sun had slipped through the curtains and fell upon your face. It was warm and it make you smile. Something was strange – the rain had stopped. You put on your boots and a light sweater and opened your door, once again to the outside. Looking around you noticed a crocus along stone pathway. Inside you welled up great happiness and rejoicing for you knew that summer would come again. (contd…)

© Priya Rajendran With every season in our lives there is a great purpose. Become a master of the seasons in your life and rejoice not only with the coming of the summer but also with the bounties from which fall, winter and spring bring to your table. Within a single day as well as within a lifetime we move through all of the season. Bring to mind a feeling and a situation within your life where you have witnessed all of the seasons. See how even with your long-term relationships and events there is always different seasons of renewal occurring. Think about it !!!
