Stage 1- (September 2011) Review of Quality Learning and Teaching Review of Quality Learning and Teaching Department – Assessment for Learning Audits : 1. Learning Intention 2. Success Criteria 3. Written Feedback 4. Peer / self Assessment 5. Questioning and dialogue

Stage 3 - (October / November 2011) Pupil Assessment for Learning Record Sheet with peer and self Assessment and pupil evaluation opportunities. Stage 4 - (January / February 2012) Teacher - Quality Teaching Learning record sheet. Common framework produced by staff on an effective lesson. Quality Indicators identified (15) – allows staff to reflect on range of experiences within classroom. Staff apply this instrument of self evaluation to measure their own teaching. Stage 2 - (October 2011) After Consulting with Stakeholders – New Assessment for Learning Policy.

Stage 5 - (April 2012) As part of MER process - pupil survey carried out by SLT – focus on Quality Teaching Learning instruments. Evidence indicated need to re-establish the ‘Good Practise’ as previous. Department - Analysis of Quality Teaching and learning – using same instrument of self evaluation measurement –to open discussion and Gain conclusions as to where department lies. Stage 6 - (May 2012) Stage 7 - (May / June 2012) ‘General Practise’ sheet introduced developed from original Assessment for Learning Audit – focusing lesson structure on Learning Intentions, Success Criteria, written feedback, peer / self assessment and questioning and dialogue.
