Concept of the museum  It is a live museum. Exhibits are not distanced from the viewer. Guests are involved into the atmosphere.  The tour is interactive. Visitors do participate.  “Dudutki” is a private company, commercial and industrial enterprise, which is self-sufficient for all 20 years of it’s existence.

Concept Interactivity Visitors not only watch but also participate in creation of something new. They are able to sit to the potter’s wheel or loom, forge a horseshoe, weave a bracelet from straw, feed animals.

Concept Private ownership “Dudutki” is a private commercial and industrial complex. For 20 years, the museum stays self-sufficient, thanks to the increasing flow of visitors. This contributes to the well- established positive image of the museum.

History Historically, the territory of the present museum was possession of a very big and famous family The Elskie. They were wide known even far from Belarus. The Elskie made a great contribution in he development of Belarusian culture and mainly crafts and technologies. In the beginning of the 20 th century all of the Elskie had to leave their family mansion.

History Evgenij Dominikavich Budinas continued historical traditions of the local territory. In the year 1994 he and his colleagues from the “Polifakt” printing house Budinas founded the “Museum of traditional Belarusian crafts and technologies”. It was a strong incentive for agriculture turism development in Belarus.

Moonshine production Visitors usually say that brewery with it’s moonshine is one of the most “attractive” parts of the museum. “Dudutki” is famous for it’s high-quality home made vodka. This is a good example of the “Brand inside the brand”

Events Today “Dudutki” is also a very well equipped place that can host mass events, festivals, weddings, company parties and any type of active rest

Events Festival of the glory of Belarusian weapon “Our Grunvald ”  For the fourth time this year “Dudutki” organizes annual knights festival. It usually attracts more than 2000 amazed guests.

Events Pancake week (Maslenitsa)  This festivity is one of the favorite holidays for Belarusians. This year more than people visited museum event enjoying pancakes and old folk fun games.

Events Folk crafts workshops  Folk crafts workshops were the Thing of the summer season. Every Sunday our guests actively took part in them. Pottery, balcksmithy and many others.

Events «Three Saviors»  Savior of the Honey, apple and Nut Feast Day. August has always some good harvest.

Charity work In conjunction with International Charity Organization “In aid to orphans” museum organized “A Happy Day”. The mission of the event was to assist in the socialization and adaptation of orphans.

Printed materials  Every visitor receives a scheme for comfortable journey around the museum.  There is a quiz map developed specially for school-age children to entertain and ease educational process. A cartoon cat invites children to walk around and ask some questions about folk traditional crafts.  Colorful information brochure to learn more about “Dudutki” museum.

Promotion and popularization  Among information partners and “friends” of the museum there are many large media companies. Such as afisha.tut.by, relax.by, chatoff.by, vkontakte.com, «Новое радио» fm  Museum is also in friendship with Belarus movie studio, extreme-theatre «Berserk», volunteers and public organizations and unions.
