Career Clusters & Pathways

Career Cluster Definition: A Career Cluster is a grouping of occupations and broad industries based on commonalities. The 16 Career Clusters provide an organizing tool for schools, small learning communities, academies and magnet schools.

Career Pathway Definition: An area of concentration within a career cluster. Each pathway contains a group of careers requiring similar academic and technical skills as well as similar industry certifications or postsecondary education.

Manufacturing Planning, managing and performing the processing of materials into intermediate or final products and related professional and technical support activities such as production planning and control, maintenance and manufacturing/process engineering. -Production -Manufacturing Production Process Development -Maintenance, Installation & Repair -Quality Assurance -Logistics & Inventory Control -Health, Safety and Environmental Assurance Marketing Planning, managing, and performing marketing activities to reach organizational objectives. -Marketing Management -Professional Sales -Merchandising -Marketing Communications -Marketing Research
