Work with the teacher As a support Care for students and help them in the areas of social, emotional and spiritual development Guide them in character development Help them with academic work, (emphasis on literacy and mathematics), under the direction of the class teacher

Be a support Work with individual students one-on-one Supervise a group while the teacher works intensively with another group Alert the teacher to any problems the students may be having

Be a servant Mark 10: Jesus called them together and said, “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 43 Not so with you.
