 2 Corinthians 5:20 – Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. EVANGELISM… APPOINTED BY GOD

 Matthew 28:18-20 – Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations… And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”  Luke 24:47-49 – And repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”  Acts 1:5 – …You will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”  Acts 1:8 – But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”  Acts 2:1, 4 – When the day of Pentecost came… All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit… GOD’S PRESENCE AND POWER AS WE SHARE OUR FAITH

 John 14:12 –Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.  John 16:7-9 – It is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper [the Holy Spirit] will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you. 8 And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: 9 concerning sin, because they do not believe in me…  2 Corinthians 4:7 – But we have this treasure [the gospel] in jars of clay [that’s us], to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. GREATER WORKS THAN JESUS! (THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT)

1.Boldness – (Ephesians 6:19-20) Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should. 2.Opportunity – (Colossians 4:3) – Pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message. 3.Clarity – (Colossians 4:4) – Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.  (2 Corinthians 4:4) The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. HOW TO PRAY FOR EVANGELISM

 Do I have unbelieving friends or have I become isolated spiritually?  Does my life make the gospel appealing to unbelievers who know me?  Am I gracious in the way I talk and relate to all?  Do I share with a humble and sincere attitude?  1 Peter 3:15 – But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, RELATIONALLY PREPARED!
