1. Make Disciples: WAIT, PLEASE GOD!

2. John 14:26 But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you. John 16:8 when he comes he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment… John 16:13 he will guide you into all TRUTH. He will not speak on his own he will speak only what he hears and he will tell you what is yet to come.

3. Acts 1:4 - WAIT And while staying with them he ordered them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, he said, “you heard from me; 5 for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

4. But you will receive POWER when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the earth. ACTS 1:8

5. WHAT IS THIS POWER? Luke 4: 17 The Jesus returned to Galilee FILLED with the HOLY SPIRITS POWER. Luke 4:36 amazed the people exclaimed what authority and power this mans words possess… Luke 5:15 the report of his POWER spread faster and vast crowds came t hear him preach and to be healed of their diseases… Luke 5:17 and the LORDs healing power was STRONGLY with JESUS. Luke 6:18 they had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases and Jesus also cast out many evil spirits … everyone tried to TOUCH him because HEALING POWER went out from him and he healed everyone. Luke 8:46 someone deliberately touched me for I felt HEALING POWER go out from me. Daughter your FAITH has made you well.

6. Acts 2:38 Each of you must repent of your sins turn to GOD and be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ to show that you have received forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the holy Spirit. This PROMISE is for you and to your children and even to the Gentiles all who have been called by the LORD our GOD.

7. Acts 8 - Phillip as a result many men and women were baptized… then Simon himself believed and was baptised. … he went wherever Philip went… and he was amazed by the signs and great miracles Philip performed. V15 they prayed for these new believers to receive the Holy Spirit… the Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them yet… for they had only been baptised in the name of the LORD Jesus. Then Peter and John laid their hands upon these believers and they received the Holy Spirit…

8. Acts 10 Cornelius 44 Even as Peter was saying these things… The Holy Spirit fell on all who were listening to the message. The gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles too for they heard them speaking in TONGUES and PRAISING GOD.

9. WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD ACTS 3 16 “Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed—and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes.
