Birth and death Alexander Graham Bell was born on March 3,1847 and died on August 2,1922. Born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland.

When his work was done Alexander Graham Bell’s work was done in1816.

Facts Alexander Graham Bell was a Scottish inventor and innovator. Born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, he migrated to Canada in 1970,and then to the United States in 1871,becoming a U.S. citizen in 1882. His research on hearing and speech further led him to experiment with hearing devices that eventually culminated in the invention to the telephone. Bell was awarded the first U.S. patent for the invention of the telephone in 1876. Bell was claimed as a “native son” by Canada, Scotland and the United States.

What made him famous What made him famous is his invention of the telephone.

What made it interesting Upon Bell’s death, all telephones throughout the United States stilled their ringing for a silent minute in tribute to the main whose yearning to communicate made them possible. I think that is interesting because the whole United states did it.

How it impact’s our life and mine We can now communicate easier because of his invention.

Quote “I am not one of those hypenated Americans who claim allegianceto two countries”.
