KNOW : Cause and Effect and Chain Reactions. SHOW : Write a chain reaction story using a “story starter”.

What is cause and effect?

Cause and Effect Song 

Definitions  Cause : a reason for an action or condition  Effect : an event, condition, or state of affairs that is produced by a cause  Chain Reaction : a series of events in which each event causes the next one

How do we know cause and effect is happening? Words will give us hints: Since So Because Due to the fact Therefore Ended Up

1.Ms. Ramirez didn’t remind students to wear their college t-shirts to college spirit day on Thursday; therefore, many of the students forgot.
