The respiratory system includes lungs. I will explain what the lungs are useful for and I bet you will be amazed

More on the respiratory system The human respiratory system is a series of organs responsible for taking in oxygen and exhaling carbon dioxide. The primary organs of the respiratory system are lungs, which carry out this exchange of gases as we breathe.

Lungs o The lungs are a very important part of the body. If we didn’t have air our body would die. o Here are a couple of problems with the lungs that can be caused by Asthma smoking and a couple other things. o The lungs are the main organ in our body. The lung on the left is smaller than the one on the right to make room for the hart to fit into the chest

Asthma With asthma your air ways are repeatedly enflamed. Asthma is a common disease In the airway that then moves to the smallest structure in the lungs. An asthma attack may include coughing, chest tightness, wheezing, and trouble breathing.

Smoking Smoking is the worst thing ever for your lungs. Lung cancer is caused by smoking. More than 80% of cases are due to smoking. Smoking can destroy the normal lung structure.

Fun lung facts Did you know that each and every day we breath about 20,000 times. Without oxygen all our body cells would die. When our air is dirty our repertory system filters out matter to the nose and to our waste area. If you run around a lot the lungs will work harder and they will get stronger.
