The Renaissance Significance on Society. The Renaissance had huge impacts on society during this time period and even still now has an impact on the way we live even today. It changed the way of living back then, from moving further away from the church as the dominance, to people seeing themselves as individuals and not focused so much as a whole community.

Adam and Eve, ceiling fresco from the Stanza della Segnatura St. Peters’s Basicila Painting of Saint George and The Dragon

Raphael’s Life Story Raphael was born on April 6, 1483, in Urbino, Italy. He became Perugino's (Reniassance painter in the school of Umbrian) apprentice in He started his career as a painter, In Rome from 1509 to he painted the "Stanza della Segnatura" frescoes located in the Palace of the Vatican. Healso painted the "Stanza d'Eliodoro". In 1514, Raphael started his career as an architect for Pope Julius II. Raphael died in Rome in April, 1520.

Analysis of the “-isms” in Painting Of St. George Humanism- Moving away from religion and into Roman and Greek classics Raphael shows in no way in his painting that of God or resemblance of the church… The slaying of a dragon is a common tale amongst that of Roman and Greek stories. Scientific Naturalism- I found in no way of this painting representing scientific naturalism. Secularism- Moving away from religion and into Roman and Greek classics Raphael shows in no way in his painting that of God or resemblance of the church… Individualism- In his painting it shows the great leadership and outstanding wealth and courage that Saint George had, i mean he is slaying a Dragon! Thats pretty courageous… Even if that dragon is small. It also shows his chivalry, he is saving a damsel in distress.
