3rd STC Meeting, Brussels, 31May – 1June 07 © GEO Secretariat Summit preparation status (1)  Formal invitation to the Summit has been sent by the South African Government to Members through diplomatic channel and to participating Organizations  Draft declaration is being prepared and will be distributed by South Africa in order to discuss it at the July Executive Committee meeting.

3rd STC Meeting, Brussels, 31May – 1June 07 © GEO Secretariat Summit preparation status (2)  Draft version of the Report on progress has been distributed on May 29th and will be discussed in the forthcoming meeting of Task Force 2, scheduled for June 4 and 5.  The GEO Secretariat has called the first meeting of the Communications Group, asking Members and participating Organizations to appoint representatives. The meeting is scheduled for June 13 at GEO Secretariat in Geneva  Logistics activities are on track.
