I. Is there any Benefit to me When I Worship? Yes ! Helps me to Grow Tend to become like those we admire and revere Makes us more like God, Christ

II. Do I really have to attend any worship Service? Yes ! “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” John 14:15 No one is forced to follow Christ

Decided to follow Christ...  Christ gives the terms  Must surrender our will to HIS  Faithful followers attend the worship services  Heb. 5:9 “...He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him,”

What about the Extra Services? Held for good of Church “Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,” Titus 3:1

“I was glad when they said to me, "Let us go into the house of the LORD.“ Ps. 122:1 House of Lord ~place of worship Delight at opportunity Godly person wants to worship

III. What Can we do to make the worship services more meaningful? Too formalized and boring Lacking in spirituality

Taking the Lord’s Supper Discern Lord’s body 1Cor.11:29 How the men come to table?? Lights to be dimmed ?? Missed whole point !!

IV. What about Spontaneous Worship ? Bursts forth in song, prayer or testimony. No set order Testifying about how much Christ means to us.

“Let all things be done decently and in order.” I Cor. 14:40 In order – an arrangement, order Confusion in Corinth

Can we testify ??? Apostles were eyewitnesses We have not seen Him We do not “witness for Christ”
