Changchun is the capital of Jilin Province, and one of the 15 deputy provincial cities approved by central government with a total population of 7.6 million people and the urban population of 3.6 million. It covers the whole area of square kilometers.

Capacity of local vehicle production reached 2.5 million in the year of 2014, with the output value of auto industry nearly 490 billion Yuan RMB, including the auto parts industry over 120 billion Yuan RMB.

Till the end of “ twelfth Five-Year plan", Changchun plans to reach 3 million vehicle production capacity, output value of automotive industry will reach 700 billion yuan.

Changchun is also major city of railway vehicles production in China. 50% railway passenger cars and 70% trains over the country were manufactured in this city.

Changchun Rail Park will be capable of manufacturing 5000 high-speed EMUs and urban railway passenger cars, the yearly output of railway vehicles and related industries will reach 100 billion Yuan RMB at the end of 2017.

Changchun has developed animal husbandry industries which have excellent quality, adequate supply and unique natural conditions for the development of deep processing of agricultural and livestock products.

Now is building a world-renowned bio-chemical base of corn processing. and getting 120 billion yuan output value of agriculture and animal husbandry product processing industry is the goal for the next few years.

We opened an International freight trains route from Changchun to Europe last month,It exits from the Manchurian port, via Siberia in Russia, Belarus, Brest, Warsaw, Poland, destination to Hyde Schwartz German. It shortened the transport time to one third of ocean shipping.

Changchun is located the three golden corn belt in the world and is an important commercial grain base, rich in corn, rice, soybeans and other crops, the annual grain output stays stable level of 11 million tons.

Changchun has rich reserves of mineral resources such as coal, oil shale, cement limestone, cement loam, etc. hot spring, petroleum, natural gas also will be developed.

Changchun has beautiful natural environment, is known as “ North Spring City ” in the world.
