How Am I Connected to My Family? My Heritage PowerPoint Project

Our Goals To celebrate our culture and our heritage To appreciate the diversity in our class To embrace different perspectives

Project criteria: There are eight sections you need to include in your project (check off each box as you finish it) You will need to interview your family members for this project! We will be sharing our PowerPoint projects with the class

Project criteria: Each section needs to have at least one written paragraph to explain it Each section should have at least one image (photo, picture, map) Correct grammar and spelling is important!

 A Beginning… Interview your parents to learn some interesting things about your family’s history! You could include where your parents or grandparents were born, or when they came to Canada!

 My Beginning… Share about where and when you were born! Share a photo!

 My Learning Journey Share where and when you began school! Have you moved to different schools? Include pictures or maps!
