Introduction Munch! Crunch! Lunch! Coyotes eat a lot! You’re going to learn about how they eat, live in their habitat, and their body. Let’s get started!

Eating First, let’s see what they eat. The coyote will swallow anything! They will hunt in pairs, in groups, or in packs. It will eat rabbits, rodents, and poultry. It can even eat some insects! They eat a lot!

Body characteristics Next, let’s explore their body characteristics. This amazing animal looks like a underfed police dog. It can weigh from pounds! Coyotes have a good sense of smell.

Habitat Now I’ll tell you where they live. Coyotes are spreading and increasing in numbers. They build their own den. Coyotes are mammals, so they give birth and hibernate in winter.
