GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS

Investigating Correlation Think/ Explore at least 10 real life examples regarding the relationship of two variables Draw scatter plots for at least two bivariate data sets available in your excersise. Comment on the scatter plots.

Defining Correlation Based on the scatter patterns obtained and the comment, define correlation in your own words. Distinguish between the two scatter patterns and differentiate between Direct and Indirect Correlation.

Case Study Collect 15 sample observations regarding the age and weight of individuals. Plot a scatter diagram and comment on the type of correlation if exist

APPLICATION Explore at least three examples that explains the application of correlation in any planning/decision making scenario
