Overview of Project Re-designing the school wide discipline plan under Positive Behavioral Intervention System (PBIS) which includes: School wide Expectations Data for intervention/prevention Building a culture of school/community collaboration Positive Student Citizenship

Rationale Create safe and welcoming culture committed to equipping all students for academic and behavioral success

Need Addressed Two issues are constant challenges to effective and successful education: Academic achievement Discipline The Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS) was chosen and implemented at Cesar Chavez to help achieve academic and behavioral success for all students through the school wide expectations…….

Project Vision. College, Career and Citizenship Cesar Chavez Elementary will empower all of our students to model positive behaviors to help ensure academic achievement and positive citizenship
