Animation Animation Project Promote a Product or Event

Animation Project Overview Objectives Understand the purpose and target audience of animations. Understand the use of common features in Adobe Flash including: Frame by Frame Animation Layering Motion Animation Frame Rates Colour Effects OutcomesTime Task 1 Complete the planning document. Task 2 Complete the skills lessons Task 3 Create the animation which is fit for purpose and the target audience. Task Identify and action improvements to your animation.

Animation Task 1 – Planning 1.Aim of Animation – Please explain which product or company you have selected. – What will be the aim of the animation. – What type of information will you include. 2.Target Audience – Who will you aim the animation at: – Male/Female – Students, Professionals etc 3.Storyboard Task: You will be creating a simple animation to either promote or create awareness for a product or company of your choice.

Animation Task 2 – Complete Skills Lessons 1.Motion Animation - shapes. 2.Motion Animation – The use of layers (Text and Images) 3.Colour Effects – Fade in/out 4.Shape Animation Work through the Skill Lesson Tasks to understand the use of basic animation effects in Adobe Flash.

Animation Task 3 – Creating the Animation 1.Once you have completed the skills lessons then create your animation. 2.Refer to your planning document - Storyboard 3.Refer to the assessment criteria ensuring you have used a range of tools and animation techniques. 4.Animation must include appropriate information and be fit for purpose and the target audience.

Animation Extension – Identify and Action Improvements 1.Identify improvements which could be made to your animation. 2.Action some changes to improve the quality of your Animation. 3.Test the following attributes of your animation 1.Delivery of Message 2.Motion Animation 3.Frame Rate – speed of animation
