Life in the woods By Valerie, Madalyn, Freezing

Wilderness We are doing wilderness because there are lots of natural resources like trees, water, shelter, rocks, mountains, plants, and leafs.

Food and other tools Shelter is to keep you dry and warm because if you don’t have a shelter you can get sick. You need a fire to stay warm and dry. A basket is to carry berries, fish, leaves, and sticks.

Calmed mind You need to keep a positive attitude, it means to stay calm and relaxed. Have hope that you might go home and see your family. Always have a picture of your family to see.

Stuff to make a home You will need a first- aid kit, sleeping bag, a tent, a water bag, equipment to stay safe, and equipment to cook. You need all this stuff to survive.

Tools Bows and arrows are helpful tools because they are used to shoot animals and to eat. A straight stick is good to catch food like fish or to defend yourself.

Watch out for poisonous things! You need to watch out for poisonous plants such as chinaberry and poison ivy. Also to watch out for dangerous animals such as leeches and bats.
