Psychological Thriller

What is a thriller ? A Thriller movie is a genre that revolves around anticipation and suspense. The aim for Thrillers is to keep the audience alert and on the edge of their seats. The protagonist in these films is set against a problem – an escape, a mission, or a mystery. emphasize the danger that the protagonist faces. The tension with the main problem is built on throughout the film and leads to a highly stressful climax.

Examples of Thriller Films Silence of the lambs: An FBI agent develops a relationship with the notorious serial killer, Dr Hannibal Lector, in order to gain Lector’s assistance in the hunt for another serial killer. Se7en:Two detectives, a rookie and a veteran, hunt a serial killer who uses the seven deadly sins as way of killing. Saw: With a dead body lying between them, two men wake up in the secure lair of a serial killer who's been nicknamed "Jigsaw". The men must follow various rules and objectives if they wish to survive and win the deadly game set for them.

Characters The characters can usually be very similar or very different in some thriller movies. The protagonist can usually be someone with psychological problems or it can be a detective in a cat and mouse game with a psychopath. The psychopath is usually the villain or in some cases the anti hero, the film makes us go into their minds and explore and see what they think about the people and their lives.

Target audience People who can take disturbing content and who likes psychology, 18-50 the appropriate age for it.
