Project ◦ Be sure to take into account the advice that Randall Pinkett gave in the video, "Evaluating HR Practices". ◦ Recommended page length is 5-6 pages in APA style ◦ Be sure to use the proper file name protocol for example: Last name First initial Assignment name, Smith J Week 8 ◦ Submit your Final Project paper to the Dropbox Review/Quiz

Unit 8 Project/Assignment Using the information from your readings, and our discussions, analyze the key elements of organizational behavior covered in this unit as they pertain to your selected organization. Complete your project by writing this final portion of your paper and submit your last part of your project together with the corrected sections from Units 2 and 4. Put the sections in order and submit to the Dropbox. Assignment Checklist: Discuss one method to promote diversity within organizations. Express how implementation of diversity initiatives increase organizational effectiveness. Identify three criteria of why diversity is important. Your Total 3-part project should include notes and observations supported by scholarly reference on the following: Describe the organization’s culture and include the factors that lead to your assessment. How do the organizational members learn the culture? Is the culture generally positive or negative?

UNIT 8 ASSIGNMENT CONTINUED What affect does the culture have on organizational goals? What are your recommendations for the culture? In general, how do the human resource practices of your selected organization shape employee attitudes and behavior? Do they have a positive or negative influence? Why? How is the performance evaluation process used at your selected organization? What recommendations do you have for modifying the process and how would your recommendations improve performance? What could the management team do to promote diversity within the organization? Include how you believe this would improve the overall organization effectiveness. Be sure to take into account the advice that Randall Pinkett gave in the video, "Evaluating HR Practices". Recommended page length is 5-6 pages in APA style Demonstrate your understanding of the course outcomes through your response. Ensure that your analysis of the company's organizational dynamics includes such things as group and team behavior, leadership, conflict and negotiation, human resource practices, organizational culture, diversity, and any other related topics discussed in this course. You should not only analyze the current condition but also make recommendations for the organization to improve overall effectiveness.
