Tuesday, July 30, 2019 Objective:
YWBAT explain the processes that change one type of rock to another.
Presentation transcript:

 We are doing this because the world is a delicate place and volcanos can hurt it.

 How are volcanos formed? Volcanos are formed in a thinly populated area during the eruption. They are in zones of hot spots.

 How does it effect the world? Volcanos effect the earth in many ways. The first part of the affection is that it destroys the area around it. When it explodes it covers the ground with ashes or lava. It also creates rocks. Some people and animals lose there lives.

 2 sprite cans  2 root beer cans  Some dish soup  Mints  Measuring cup  Ruler  Air  You  Brain

We think that the sprite and the mints put together will make a eruption like a volcano.

1. Put some mints in a measuring cup and then put 1 cup of sprite. 2. Put ruler on top to see how high it goes. 3. Repeat with other liquids and other amounts 4. If it was fun eat a mint

Are conclusion was that if lava was made out of sprite then land would not be formed. Also if dish soap or root beer were lava land would not be made. We know this because in are experiment the liquids we used did not erupt like a volcano.
