How Much Does It Cost To Clean My School? Cleaning a school requires a great deal of cleaning products; however, it is also inclusive of custodial salaries.

What Does It Take? Cleaning a school depends on the size and how many people that are housed in it.

There are Several Things to Consider Keeping a school clean also depends on how products are managed and used. The head custodian meets weekly with the school book-keeper to discuss inventory of products, to reorder supplies, and to keep a checklist of housed supplies.

Cleaning Supplies List Examples of interior cleaning products: Paper towels Toilet tissue Furniture polish Dust mops and refills Deodorants/disinfectant spray Wet mop heads Fluorescent lamps; light bulbs Hand soap, santi-fresh products .

Who’s Responsible for Keeping Our School Clean? The custodians are ultimately responsible for keeping our schools clean, though everyone should do their part in keeping the classrooms, restrooms, playground, cafeteria, and other school areas clean.

What is the Cost of Cleaning My School… The cost of cleaning supplies and materials are approximately $7,000 yearly. Salaries include: Head Custodian- $30,000 yearly (Works year round) 3 Additional Full-Time Custodians $16,000-$24,000 yearly. (Works 40 weeks yearly)
