SOCOM Military Adaptive Sports Program (MASP) Through engagement in adaptive sports and recreation, MASP promotes physical and mental fitness, emotional and social well being, and enhances the overall health and welfare of Wounded, Ill or Injured “My friends, we should consider ourselves fortunate, not because we are any greater or lesser because we face adversity, rather we simply rejoice in the opportunity to face it.”

SOCOM Military Adaptive Sports Program (MASP) The MASP program provides access to equipment, professional coaching and training camps in a variety of sports.

SOCOM Military Adaptive Sports Program (MASP) Athletes may be chosen to represent USSOCOM at the annual Warrior Games and Invictus Games competitions if they demonstrate a commitment to training and a strong desire and ability to perform at a competitive level.

Who can participate? Must be in the Care Coalition tracker All Wounded, Ill and Injured, not just those with Physical injuries Active duty must have command endorsement. Must have medical clearance. Must abide by USSOCOM conduct policy. SOCOM Military Adaptive Sports Program (MASP) What is the cost? Travel, meals, lodging and venues fees are all included for each camp. Active Duty: Travel is TDY and funded by SOCOM, meals and lodging reimbursed via DTS Retirees: Costs are paid for by various benevolent organizations.

What about Family Involvement? Official NMAs are covered and included in all MASP events Warrior and Invictus Games includes two friends or family members SOCOM Military Adaptive Sports Program (MASP)

To register or refer a service member for any of these opportunities please contact MASP Staff (Tracker Referral for CC staff) Participant will fill out application including medical and command clearance Participants are alerted to training/competition opportunities and sign up based on availability.
