How to do an Upstairs/Downstairs Reading Response Copy the following info into the “Reading Response” section of your notebook

Format Your Paper First, divide your paper by drawing a series of stairs from the upper right corner to the lower left corner

Upstairs Side The left-hand side of the paper is the upstairs, representing a character’s strengths
