E.L. KONINGSBURG She was born Feb. 10,1930. She grew up in small towns in Pennsylvania. Her full name was Elaine Lobi Konigsburg. She died on April She died at 83 because of a stroke.

INFO ABOUT THE NEWBERY MEDAL Awarded for the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children. It was presented by the association for library service to children, a division of the American library association. It was first awarded in 1922.

MRS. FRANKIWILER She likes to keep her files in a certain order. She likes to know her own secrets. Her house is very big. She new about angel before any one else.

FACTS ABOUT CLAUDIA She likes things to be really neat. She is really picky. She ran away from injustice. When they ran away she took a bath and did laundry

FACTS ABOUT JAMIE Jamie likes to play cards. He plays for money. He is not picky like Claudia. He dose not mind telling a lie. He likes to play the trumpet. He dose not like to spend his money.

STORY SUMMARY Frist Claudia comes up with a plan to run away. They are going to run away to the Metropolitan Museum of art. They went to the Italian Renaissance and found angle. Next Claudia wanted to learn about angle. They went to Mrs. Frankweiler ‘s house because they read that Mrs. Frankweiler sold it. Then they went to Mrs. Frankweiler’s house to find out about angel.

REVIEW OF THE BOOK We liked the part where they took a bath in the fountain. We also liked the part when Claudia tried to walk like the tour guide. We personally would not refer this book to a friend because I did not like this book that much
