SECRETS FOR SUCCESSFUL RELATIONSHIPS Love People by Searching for Ways to Encourage Them (Ephesians 4:29). C. Avoid ______ or unnecessary words. hurtful

The root of friction in our relationships is found in pride (Proverbs 13:10). We are supposed to submit to each other in loving humility (Ephesians 5:21).

God planned for us to take part in the lives of others so we could encourage one another to spiritual maturity (Ephesians 4:11-12). Words are powerful tools that can be used to either hurt or build up people (Ephesians 4:29).

God is always listening in and will hold us accountable for all that we say (Matthew 12:36).

Try This Week… Letter Writing Ministry – Write letters of encouragement to five different people. Try to choose people who need the most encouragement.
