Leading public health into the future and promoting health people and healthy communities PHLS Description A membership program that provides opportunities for alumni of all public health leadership development programs to continue their learning experiences and leadership development, maintain professional and personal relations, and advance the causes of public health. PHLS was formed in 1993 by NPHLI graduates to provide continuing leadership education and peer consultation opportunities. Governed by elected Council Funded by a cooperative agreement from the CDC
