 A computer network is a group of computers that are connected to each other for the purpose of communication. Any computer network is classified on the basis of a wide variety of characteristics.

 A computer network allows sharing of resources and information among devices connected to the network. The Advanced Research Projects Agency funded the design of the Advanced Research Projects Agency Network for the United States Department of Defense.

 The advanteges of a computer network is that you can conect yourself trough the computer whith other people for as long as you want all to have to do is to sign in to programs like: mesenger,skype,facebook,twitter and also high 5.

 The diferent types of networks are:  LAN: a computer network that physicaly links two or more computers  MAN:covers large geographic areas such as cities.  WAN: covers larger geographic areas such as countries.
