GOAL SETTNG "If you don’t have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?" - John Wooden

 S -Specific  M- Measureable  A- Attainable  R- Relevant  T- Timely

SPECIFIC  Specific goals- Detail is vital. Know exactly what you are going for.  “We’re going to connect with various community members to see where our fundraiser can make the most impact.”

SPECIFIC Identify whose face is really behind that pesky word “various.”

MEASURABLE  How will you know if you have reached this goal?  Specific with names, numbers, date, appointments.

Attainable  Smart goals should be challenging, yet attainable. Goals are made to help us stretch, but they should not be completely out of our reach.

 Phrase it right. The more positively you phrase a goal, the more likely you are to remain committed to achieving it. Don't say: "I should," instead say: "I will.“  ATTAINABLE GOAL ASSIGNMENT Attainable

RELEVANT  How is this going to help me?  Job  School  Do I need skills  Help someone else
