CONFERENCE REPORT CONFERENCE : When a group of persons meets together for a specific purpose it is known as conference. In conference they discuss on specific topic, subject, related issues etc. and communicate their views and opinions with each other. CONFERENCE REPORT GENERAL CONFERENCE : When a conference is organize for a general purpose then it is known as general conference. SPECIFIC CONFERENCE : When a conference is organize for a specific purpose then it is known as specific conference.

TREND REPORT TREND REPORT : What are the current/new trends comes in a particular subject. When a report is prepared considering these trends in that subject or field is called trend report. e.g. Current trends in library and information science are Automation, Digitization, Library consortia, Meta data, Data mining etc.

PROGRESS REPORT PROGRESS REPORT : Progress report shows the different stages of development of a subject. Progress report deals with the initial stages of development of a subject to the latest development in that particular subject.

STATE-OF-ART REPORT STATE-OF-ART REPORT : State-of-art report is the evaluation of any subject from starting to end. State-of-art report is the evaluation of any subject from starting to end.
