Type of Reports Tabular Tabular reports are used for seeing record level details of data and can be drilled to the record itself. The report output is organized in a multicolumn, multi-row format, with each column corresponding to a column in the database table.

Type of Reports Matrix A matrix report is used for displaying grouped data and summary information. You can group data by multiple fields or expressions in row and column groups like in crosstabs and pivot tables. A matrix report can be drilled down to next level both on summary and attributes At run time, as the report data and data regions are combined, a matrix grows horizontally and vertically on the page. Values in matrix cells display aggregate values scoped to the intersection of the row and column groups to which the cell belongs.

Type of Reports Templates Similar to the tabular reports this format of reports enables you to view record level details however instead of a Table format, the details can be seen in a Form layout

Type of Reports Report Groups In order to analyze data hierarchically the drill down reports facilitate the capability of creating report groups. For example to see data of Region-Cluster-Zone-Branch wise sales productivity the report group of Region, Cluster, Zone and Branch can be provided to give top to bottom visibility
