NKAWE Just like Him Ephesians 5:22-33

Ephesians 5: Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. 24 Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,

26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, 27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. 28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.

30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. 31 "For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh." 32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband. NKJV

In God’s idea of Marriage, Wives are called to Submission just like the church to Christ Husbands are called to Love just like Christ does the church Husbands and Wives are called to oneness, just like Christ and His Church are one MAJOR PROBLEM!!!! - WHY IS IT THAT IT IS WOMEN WHO MUST SUBMIT?

THE SUBMISSION & LOVE CHAIN 1 Corinthians 11:3 But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. NKJV GOD CHRIST HUSBAND WIFE GOD CHRIST HUSBAND WIFE

22 Wives, submit to your own husbands (Not other people’s husbands), as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. 24 Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. NKJV Just like the revelation of the (LOVE) Finished work of Christ on the cross makes it easy for the church to submit to His Lordship, a wife’s revelation of her own Husband’s Love makes it easy for her to submit to him.

John 14:10 - Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. NKJV Luke 22: And He was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw, and He knelt down and prayed, 42 saying, "Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.“ Jesus had a revelation of His ‘Position of Love’ in the Father and He selflessly Submitted to Him. WIFE SUBMIT TO YOUR OWN HUSBAND – NKAWE!

25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ (NKAWE) also loved the church and gave Himself for her (Sacrifice Self for Her sake), 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her (make her better everyday) with the washing of water by the word, (assurance that comes from the truth in your words) 27 that He might present her to Himself (She is a product of your doing) a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. NKJV

Every Husband has things that they are not willing to discuss or let go of – My money, my car, I make the decisions in this house, this is how I do things etc. The key to loving is ‘Sacrificing Self’ You can not sacrifice something that does not hurt to let go of. Jesus was God but left it all to live as a mortal man and sacrificed comfort for the pain and agony of the cross

28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. NKJV To Nourish – feed, nurture, encourage, promote, cultivate, reassure, support To Cherish – Treasure, Value, Prize, Appreciate, relish, take pleasure in, esteem, attach importance to, revere

30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. 31 "For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh." 32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Jesus cherished the Church so much that He left His Deity to win back His beloved, the Church. HUSBANDS DO EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER TO BE ONE WITH YOUR WIFE – NKAWE.

33 Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband. NKJV Husband, let it be known of you in particular, that you SOOOOO Love your wife. Wife ENSURE that you Respect your husband – whether he deserves it or not Love gives birth to submission and respect. On the other hand, Submission causes the heart of Love to grow fonder.
