Colombia has changed its role in cooperation issues and has positioned itself in the region as a supplier country in security and defense. Our country now projects its relations with other countries and organizations from a dynamic point of view, that allows flexibly and adaptation to future security challenges. It has been accomplished in different international scenarios the importance of establishing regional security policies that include topics such as the fight against organized crime, fight against the world drug problem, money laundering and cyber crime, among others. The Ministry of Defense continues to consolidate international cooperation as a foreign policy tool to help strengthen the insertion of Colombia in bilateral, regional and global scenarios.
