1948  This is called an LP record. It stands for long- playing microgroove record. It is one type of record. It was introduced in 1948 by a company called Colombia Records.

The phonautograph  This was invented in March 25, 1857 by Edouard-Leon Scott de Martinville. This is known as the earliest recording device.

Cassete Tape Recorder  This is called the cassette tape recorder. It is a recording device and you use tape to record. It is invented by a man called William.C Rhodes and invented in 1886.

Gramophone  This is called a gramophone. A man called Emile Berliner invented it. He also invented a vinyl disk. He invented the gramophone in November 8th You use vinyl disk to record.

Audio On Computers  In this century “The 21 st” most people use computers to create and produce audio, But this began in the late 1900s.
