Meter Stick A meter stick is used for measuring distance in millimeters and centimeters.

Flask A flask is used for holding or pouring liquid. (It can be heated)

Beaker A beaker is used for holding, pouring, and measuring liquid. (measured in milliliters and it can be heated)

Stopwatch or Timer A stopwatch is used for counting time within a single moment.

Tongs Tongs are used for holding or moving hot glassware like flasks, test tubes, beakers.

Safety Goggles Goggles are used to protect your eyes from chemicals and foreign objects.

Tape Measure A tape measure is used to measure distance in feet, inches, millimeters, and centimeters.

Eyewash Station An eyewash station is used for flushing chemicals from the eyes. Eyes must be washed for 15 – 20 MINUTES.

Microscope A microscope is used to see objects that cannot be seen with an unaided eye.

Funnel A funnel is used for guiding liquid into a separate container so it does not spill.

Eyedropper An eyedropper is used for gathering a small amount of liquid and dispensing it one drop at a time. (usually glass and rubber)

Computer Computers are used for research and recording observations.

Hand Lens A hand lens is used to see tiny details on an object that are difficult to see.

Thermometer A thermometer measures temperature of solids, liquids, and gasses in Celsius or Farenheit.

Calculator A calculator is used for making mathematical calculations.

Pipette A pipette is used for gathering a small amount of liquid and dispensing it one drop at a time (usually disposable plastic).

Graduated Cylinder A graduated cylinder is used for measuring liquid in milliliters (Cannot be heated).

Fire Blanket A fire blanket is used for putting out small fires or fires on a person.

Broken-glass Box A broken-glass box is where all the broken glass is placed so nobody can get cut.
