Who were some famous nurses during war? By Giorgia Beillard

Who were they? Clara Barton was a nurse in the Civil war and was born in 1821 and died in She started her Civil War work in Florence Nightingale was a nurse born in 1873 before WWl or WWll. Her nickname was “The Lady With The Lamp”.

What was a nurses role? The role of a nurse was to cure wounded soldiers before they could not take any medication. Their other role was to protect other people from getting injured.

The life of a nurse! Nurses are assigned jobs that tackle any issues in patient care, ranging from surgery assistance to basic health care. Despite all the responsibilities they are saddled with, they still must make time to develop their nursing care plans.

How the nurses dressed! The rage of garments worn by female nurses were varied greatly. The Catholic Sisters wore their traditional black habits – although, the sisters of Charity wore blue habits.
