Fall Performance Task non-digital Classroom Activity Resource

Class goes on a fieldtrip to learn about the environment.

Ecorilla is the guest speaker that teaches the kids about the environment. He says that all living things need water to live, and that we need to conserve water. Conserve means to “use less.” There are many ways we can save water.

Turn off the faucet when you brush your teeth: it saves 30 Liters of water.

Take quick showers instead of baths or long showers.

Don’t drink bottled water. Drink filtered water instead: it tastes better and doesn’t place plastic bottles in the trash dump.

We may have big lakes, but millions of people around need fresh water, and they may need it from our clean lakes.
