Everything Shakespeare and Elizabethan Theatre WebQuest

Introduction Shakespeare: The man, the myth (as some scholars believe), the legend. Before we begin our study of Shakespeare’s tragedy Macbeth, it is your job to weigh in about England’s greatest playwright and poet.

Task We have already learned about Shakespeare’s profound impact on our language and culture, but let’s find out more about the man, his life, his work, and the England in which he lived. Evaluation Print off your answers for the WebQuest and bring it to class on the assigned day. We will go over them in class together and have a student and teacher led discussion about everything Shakespeare. You will receive a quiz grade for your correct answers.
