Ancient Greece Webquest

INTRODUCTION Greetings from Ancient Greece! We look forward to you learning about our country! Greece is a land with rich culture. We were the first place to create the Olympic games and our philosophers, doctors, and artists influenced many things that you see in the United States today.

TASK Since there are so many aspects to life in Ancient Greece, it would be exhausting trying to research each one. Instead, different groups will explore an assigned topic about the way ancient Greeks lived. After your group has researched their topic, you and your group members will create a posterboard with the important information you found. Each group will then give a presentation to the class in order to teach them about their specific topic.

PROCESS/RESOURCES Step One: With your group members, research your topic with the provided resources. The first resource is a website that you can navigate to find information about your topic. Click on the link to explore each website about life in Ancient Greece: http://www.historylink102.com/greece3/children.htm

PROCESS continued….. Visit links and take notes about information you want to include on your posterboard. You need at least five separate facts on your posterboard which are to be handwritten.
