1. Historical facts Roman numerals Greek numerals The numbers 1 to 10 can be expressed in Roman numerals as follows: I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, and X. The Roman numeral system is decimal but not directly positional and does not include a zero. Greek numerals Greek numerals are a system of representing numbers using letters of the Greek alphabet.
