Grand Canyon by Fernando The Grand Canyon is about 800,000 football fields long.

 A wonderful time to visit the Grand Canyon is in the Summer because there is more free time to spend time with your family.

The Grand Canyon was formed by erosion mostly by water because water breaks pieces off while it flows through and formed the Grand Canyon.

Layers of the Grand Canyon  The Grand Canyon was made with 10  Layers which you can see below.

 The Colorado River flows through the Grand Canyon.

 The top on the Grand Canyon, the Kaibab Limestone, has alot of fossils that reveal that it began at the sea. the layers age is about 250 million years old.
